A day in the life of PRODUCTION!

works with Small Army on "Before You Ask Her, Ask Us." campaign for Long's Jewelers

The Lincoln Tavern in South Boston, was our first location of the day.

The crew from Small Army getting their ducks in a row, while models get even prettier,

not that beautiful model Abba from Maggie Inc needs much work...

but Make-Up artist Heidi Wells from Ennis Inc works her magic anyway.

It's perfectly proper to apply lipstick at the dinning table,
especially at a photo-shoot!

Let's just say "acting" came natural for Abba and Ana.

Photographer Colin Hughes, getting up close and personal
for the perfect shot!

How lovely, we'll got the whole dance floor to ourselves!

Makeshift office for downloading images, for on the spot, client approval.

Moving on to our next couple.
Andria and Jason from Maggic Inc.,
 meet at the bar.....

 fall in love...

and live happier ever after!  ;-)

On to our next location....
Castle Island, on a chilly day..Brrrr!

Hey, are you coming? Say's Art Director, Rachel Bukstein

Nope, my job's the "copy" says Tayrl Hafer...have you seen
the temps on this weather screen!

But none of the troopers from Small Army, ever complained
and Account Executive, Monica Belling even had some FUN!

Sorry ladies, but we'll need your jackets.... Brrrr

Yay, it's time for Ana and Abba to go home and thaw out!

Now, for the last shot of the day...the sunset engagement!

Oh Andria, you're such an actress!
But we're glad you are.
Got it!

Looks like a wrap to me!

Michele say's, honest officer, I've accounted
for every "body" I brought with me!

What a great shoot and what a great thing for Long's to step up and encourage same sex marriages!

Lets hear it for Long's!

M Doucette Production with Grasshoppers Down on the Farm

Grasshoppers, a division of Keds, hires M Doucette Production for a challenging on-location shoot.

Their creative concepts consisted of bike riding, gardening, a farm stand, and beach/marsh scenes. MDP knew they couldn't travel to all these locations in 1 day, so Michele came up with the idea of making our own "farm stand" at a place with an existing garden and farm,...
accomplishing all the comps with just two locations!
Stylist Lysa Pelletier from The Team Agency jumped through hoops
to make this happen. We all ate fresh veggies for the  next week!

Photographer Glenn Scott's Assistant Corey Davis
has a tall order to maintain Glenn's perfect lighting.

Lysa makes sure our models Cindy Lentol, and Janeen Kirby are styled right: as well as our Photographer's Assistant Robyn Maguire.

Oops, looks like our Art Director, Simone hasn't had her morning coffee
yet, she's wearing a hat with a price tag!
Lysa wear are you???

Hair & Makeup Artist, Kathleen Schiffmann front and center,
looking like a real professional.

The whole crew at our 2nd location of the day -
a beautiful home overlooking the marshes in Ipswich.

Michele Doucette never misses a behind-the-scenes photo op!

And, NO... it's not always the handsome male models.

Glenn, you don't need to pose.
You're the one behind the camera!

Take a look at some more fun shots from throughout the day:

M Doucette Production wants to thank everyone involved in the shoot:
Keds, Glenn Scott Photography, Lysa & Kathleen with Team the Agency,
Aquila Farm, Raymond Forbes & Maggie Model Management

Pin Up Production!

Oh...What a Production!

made sure that all the pieces fell into place for this charity photo-shoot, from casting, models, hair, makeup, wardrobe, with complete production coordination from start to finish.

Photography by Stephen Sherman;  Art Direction by Cara King and Liz Brenke from Phillip's Design Group;   Conception and Promotion by Lane Atteridge and Anne Marie Aigner from Aigner/Prensky Marketing Group.

We proudly present the Pin-Up Calendar

Calendars will be sold at the 2012 Food Truck Festivals of New England
and all proceeds go to Community Servings

Below are  behind the scene shots of the crew in action.
It's Pin Up Time!

Wardrobe Stylist Andrea McInnes from Ennis Inc dressing model Jacq.

Make Up artist Britton Atchley applies some final touches before Jacq.
hits the stage...or say we say hits the Lobsta Love truck.

And she's been practicing her poses folks.
Jacqueline Voeghtlin from Model Club, Inc.

Photographer Stephen Sherman clicks away,... as a Star is Born,
and more importantly, as ailing, hungry people get delicious meals
hand delivered!

Stay tuned for more scenes, credits and models.....

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who donated their time, resources, and creativity!

The calendar will be on sale by the beginning of June at a cost of $10, with 100% of the proceeds going to Community Servings, a Massachusetts organization that prepares and delivers 7,500 lunches and dinners each week to the homes of almost 775 individuals and families who are homebound with an acute life-threatening illness.

They plan to sell the calendars at all the Food Truck Festivals throughout the summer and fall (schedule is at www.foodtruckfestivalsofne.com )

Calling all Pin Up Girls....for a good cause!

Calling all Pin Up Girls....for a good cause!

video

We are producing a "Pin Up Calendar" and the proceeds will be donated to Community Servings, a not-for-profit food and nutrition program providing services throughout Massachusetts to individuals and families living with critical and chronic illnesses.

They prepare and deliver 7,500 lunches and dinners each week to the homes of almost 775 individuals and families who are homebound with an acute life-threatening illness. http://www.servings.org/index.cfm

We are aiming to shoot 12 woman in 2 days. The dates we have penciled in are Sun 4/22 and Mon 4/23.

Would you be interested in helping us out, having some fun and getting some great PR?  We plan to modernize the classic look, with more edgy girls, tattoos and some cool wardrobe and makeup, while keeping the "pinup" look. We will have the girls posing in and around the brightly colored food trucks.

We will be giving credit on the back of the calendar to all who donate their time or services,...as well as any PR mentions.

Grasshoppers for Spring!

Fun Day Shooting at Glenn Scott's Studio with Grasshoppers!

Glenn set's up his beautiful lighting with a mix of natural and strobe.

Lilly is thinking, "it's going to be a long day...hope Glenn stocked up my doggie treats."

Favorite part of my job....

next to breaking out my Macro lens and playing "photographer".
Of course stealing Glenn's gorgeous lighting....talk about "available" light!  ;-)

Art Director, Graphic Designer, and Stylist, Julia O'Brien setting up her shots.
Yes, she does it all!

Charlie, our Jack of all Trades, always there when you need him.

Hope someone likes lemonade.  Baskets of homeless lemons.
Julia, habitually having fun and smiling at our shoots.
Getting giddy at the wrap...Glenn had an idea of giving Julia a haircut.
I think he shot too many shoes today!

Just a few of the finished shots of the day!
Check out Grasshoppers to see more of Glenn's and Julia's latest work.
